Trout fishing outside of NJ

Im researching now to fish this area in late January to middle February. Looks like a pretty good place to fish from the Pulaksi NY stretch I normally do. Getting tired of going to the same ole place. from what Im reading the fishing is on the decline. It has been for several years now. But this season has been really off.
Has anyone fished Niagara River in the area of Buffalo here ? & if you did how did you like it

Not me nor anyone I know of which is odd. Even if I haven't fished a given river, I usually know many others that have. Can't say that with the Niagra

nice pic. serious cold up that way, guess not too much different than Pulaski, but perhaps more wind

Above or below the falls? That's one serious looking river below the falls, don't know that I'd f with it wade fishing.
